Rough-terrain forklift truck
The fork truck transposed onto a site carrier.
It unloads a lorry at the edge of a haul road, where the warehouse truck would not even come off the trailer.
Other names for this machine: masted site truck, 4x4 fork truck.
What it does
the ground clearance and the tyres — a warehouse truck bogs down where this one goes on.
Diagrammatic silhouette, without dimensions and not to scale.
The fork-lift truck transposed onto a site carrier:
it unloads a lorry at the edge of a haul road, not at a loading dock.
What it does not do. It lifts straight ahead of it.
As soon as you have to go far or high, it is the telescopic handler.
it is the ground that decides between a counterbalance truck and an all-terrain one.

What governs the fitting of an attachment
-
The standardised carriage and its class
Truck carriages follow standardised classes.
That is what makes handling attachments interchangeable — within the limits of the class. -
The residual capacity
Any attachment fitted on the carriage uses up capacity:
its own weight and its forward offset.
The capacity shown on the plate no longer holds. - The lift height and the type of mast They decide the entry envelope and the height reached, two independent constraints.
-
The nature of the ground
An industrial truck does not leave hard, flat ground.
No attachment corrects that.
One model, as a reference point
The values below hold for this model only.
They are there to give an order of magnitude to anyone who has none, not to serve as a reference.
- Lifting capacity
- 1 800 kg
- Weight
- 3 440 kg
- Width
- 1,45 m
- Length
- 4,10 m
- Engine power

Caveat. The load centre and the lift height do not appear on the dealer's sheet.
They are, however, the two figures that decide what can really be carried and at what height:
to be read off on the machine.

These values are those of one precise model, at one precise date. They do not describe a category:
there are no characteristics of a compact loader in general, there are those of the model you have.
They change from one year to the next and never replace the data sheet of your machine.
