Crusher bucket
It loads rubble and out comes aggregate.
The material does not leave the
site:
it changes state on the spot, in the bucket.
Other names for this tool: crushing bucket, jaw crusher bucket, jaw crusher, crushing skip, recycling bucket.

What it is for
Right: without it, the rubble goes off by lorry to the landfill.
What sets it apart:
the point is not to break — a breaker breaks too.
It is to stop carrying.

The site recycles on the spot what would otherwise have had to be hauled away.

The bucket houses a moving jaw driven hydraulically.
You load demolition
concrete, brick, stone or asphalt; the jaw reduces it, and
the material falls out at the bottom once it passes the set opening.
The point is not to break — a breaker breaks too.
It is to
stop carrying:
no tipping charges, no buying
imported aggregate, no lorry journeys on a site where they
sometimes cost more than the material itself.
It is not a crushing plant. Its output is on quite
another scale from that of a mobile quarry crusher.
Its advantage is
elsewhere:
it works where no plant can be brought — an inner
courtyard, a town centre, an isolated site, a volume too small to justify a
station.
On which machine?
They exist for machines from 5 to 100 t.
For example, on an excavator over 20 t, the weight is generally from 2 000 to 11 500 kg.
It fits all quick couplers, or directly on the pins.
What the tool does
It is made of wear-resistant steel, with interchangeable jaw sets and automatic lubrication, to be checked with you.
For example, on an excavator over 20 t: capacity from 600 to 2 300 l, width from 850 to 1 820 mm.
An electromagnet is available as an option, to be checked with you.
What is needed on the hydraulic side
It generally needs from 50 to 430 l/min, at a pressure from 150 to 300 bar, depending on the size of the machine.

Your study sets the exact value for your machine.
Have your machine checked.
Give us your excavator model, the flow of your auxiliary line if you
know it, the nature of the rubble and the size you are looking for.
If you are hesitating between
crushing on the spot and carting away, say so:
the calculation is made on lorry
journeys, not on the price of the tool.
- Your machine Its make and its tonnage.
- The auxiliary circuit Its flow in l/min, its pressure in bar, single- or double-acting.
- The coupler in place Its system and its class.
- The work The use, and the material.
Without these details, the study still begins: we will ask you for them.

What determines the choice
-
01 — The output particle size
It is set by the opening of the jaw, and it is what decides whether the
product will serve as fill, as a sub-base or nowhere at all.
Set it on the use intended, not on the output:
a size that is too coarse comes out fast but is of no use. -
02 — The hydraulic flow, continuously
The tool turns throughout the cycle, not in bursts.
A flow that is only just enough does not show up as a breakdown, but as an output that collapses — and as heat. -
03 — The weight of the tool
These are among the heaviest attachments in the range, and they work
loaded.
It is the operating weight, arm extended, that governs the class of machine — not the empty catalogue weight. -
04 — The nature of what you are breaking
Reinforced concrete frees bars, which have to be got out.
Asphalt sticks in hot weather.
Hard stone wears the jaws faster than foundation concrete.
These are constraints of use, not details.
A tool with a continuous function heats the circuit. Like the
rotary mulcher, it makes demands on the hydraulics without
interruption.
The cooling of the machine then becomes a criterion in its own
right — especially in summer, and especially on a machine that was not designed
for this type of equipment.
What is checked before ordering
-
The auxiliary line and its flow
It is the first eliminating criterion.
Without a line, the tool does not work; with an insufficient line, it works badly. See the 7 criteria. -
The return to tank and the cooling
Continuous use makes it necessary to know how the machine gets rid of the heat.
It is a question to put to the excavator dealer as much as to the supplier of the tool. -
The weight at the end of the arm, bucket full
The governing case is not the tool alone:
it is the tool loaded, arm extended, slewing. -
What you intend to do with the aggregate
Trench backfill, road sub-base, reuse in concrete:
the intended use governs the size and the checks to be provided for.
Tell us, it changes the setting we recommend. -
The interface
Coupler type and size, or pin dimensions.
The tool is supplied with the matching plate — see the couplers.
