The grease points on an excavator and its tools are many, sometimes hard to reach, and manual greasing gets done when there is time.
A centralised system does it when it should be done, with the same quantity every time.
The benefit is indirect and real:
pins and bushes that last longer, and a machine that stays accurate longer.
It is the same subject as taking up play, approached from the other end.
A greasing system has to be watched too. An empty reservoir, a pinched line or an unconnected point give the illusion of greasing without the greasing.
The visual check is still necessary:
it simply becomes rarer.

Centralised greasing is mounted on the machine, independently of the coupler.
All machines are covered, and the mounting depends on each one.
