Interchangeable jaws
they are the sets that a body takes.
Synthetic image.
These are not tools:
they are the sets that a multiprocessor body takes.
They decide the material that can be handled.
Other names for this tool: sets of jaws, jaw kits, multiprocessor jaws, added jaws.

What it is for
Right: a set designed for another body does not fit it, the interfaces differ.
What sets them apart:
they are not tools — they are the sets that a body takes, and they decide the material handled.

Four families are commonly met with:
a concrete jaw that bursts the material and frees the reinforcement, a shearing jaw for metal, a sheet-cutting jaw, and a sorting jaw that grips without destroying.
They do not pass from one maker to another:
a set belongs to a body, as a wear part belongs to its tool.
That is what makes the choice of body a long-term decision, and not the purchase of one more tool.
Buying a body means choosing a catalogue of jaws for years. The question to ask when buying the body is therefore not only the price of the set supplied with it, but the existence, the lead time and the cost of the sets you will take afterwards.

On which machine?
Interchangeable jaws fit on a multi-processor body, with an interface specific to that body.
They equip excavators from 7 to 170 t.
On a 5 to 10 t excavator: from 490 to 750 kg.
On a 10 to 20 t excavator: from 490 to 1 300 kg.
Above 20 t: from 990 to 3 800 kg.
What the tool does
They weigh from 490 to 13 000 kg depending on the model.
Depending on the model: reversible blades or cutting edges, or interchangeable cutting blades, to be checked with you.
Some have bolt-on teeth, replaceable without welding, or a pressure intensifier, to be checked with you.
They are also available in a rotating version through 360° and in a two-ram version, to be checked with you.
What is needed on the hydraulic side
They need no hydraulic connection: they fit on the carrier tool.

Your study sets the exact value for your machine.
Have your machine checked.
Tell us which body you own or are considering, and what materials you handle in the year.
We will look at which sets are justified, and which will sleep.
- Your machine Its exact make and model.
- What is fitted What equips the machine today.
- The work What the machine is used for.
Without these details, the study still begins: we will ask you for them.

What determines the choice
-
01 — The material each set is aimed at
Reinforced concrete, sections, sheet, rubble to be sorted:
one set per real use, not one set per catalogue line. - 02 — The weight of each set They do not all weigh the same, and the load chart is checked with the heaviest.
-
03 — The wear parts of the set
Teeth, blades, cutting edges:
bolt-on and replaceable, or integral with the jaw. - 04 — Availability over time A set that can no longer be found condemns the body that carries it.
What is checked before ordering
-
The body you already own
Make, size, generation:
it is what governs, not the machine. - The time and means of changing Lifting, an area, tooling — and who takes charge of it.
- The stock of wear parts The real annual cost is to be found there.
- The load chart with the heaviest set Arm extended, at height.
