Multi-processor
it is the jaws that decide the work.

A body, a ram, a rotation — and jaws that are changed.
It is the carrier tool:
it is the jaws that decide the work.
Other names for this tool: demolition processor, multi-function grab, tool with interchangeable jaws, demolition body.

What it is for
Right: three complete dedicated tools, always ready but bulkier.
What sets it apart:
it is the carrier tool — it is the jaws that decide the work.

The body carries the ram, the rotation and the frame:
it is the durable part, and it is what represents the bulk of the investment.
The jaws come off and are replaced according to the material to be handled — concrete, sections, sheet, rubble to be sorted.
The calculation is simple to set out:
one body and two or three sets of jaws, against as many dedicated tools.
The first costs less and takes up less room;
the second is permanently ready, with no trip to the workshop.
Changing jaws is not changing tool. The operation is carried out in the workshop or on a prepared area, with lifting equipment — not in two minutes at the foot of the heap.
If the site calls for alternating several times a day, it is separate tools and a quick coupler that you need. See the sets of jaws.
On which machine?
It fits an excavator from 6 to 110 t, via a mounting plate on all couplers.
On an excavator from 5 to 10 t: a multi-processor from 490 to 1 100 kg.
On an excavator from 10 to 20 t: from 490 to 2 800 kg.
On an excavator over 20 t: from 990 to 4 400 kg.
What the tool does
It is used to demolish and break, and weighs from 490 to 9 000 kg.
Depending on the model: reversible blades or cutting edges, interchangeable cutting blades, bolt-on teeth replaceable without welding, pressure intensifier, to be checked with you.
It also comes in a rotating version, through 360°.
A twin-cylinder version also exists, to be checked with you.
What is needed on the hydraulic side
It needs a two-line hydraulic circuit.
On a 5 to 10 t excavator: from 100 to 200 l/min, at 320 to 350 bar.
On a 10 to 20 t excavator: from 100 to 300 l/min, at 250 to 380 bar.
Above 20 t: from 130 to 400 l/min, at 250 to 380 bar.

Your study sets the exact value for your machine.
Have your machine checked.
Tell us what materials you handle in an ordinary year and how often you go from one to another.
It is that frequency that settles it.
- Your machine Its make and its tonnage.
- The auxiliary circuit Its flow in l/min, its pressure in bar, single- or double-acting.
- The coupler in place Its system and its class.
- The work The use, and the material.
Without these details, the study still begins: we will ask you for them.

You change jaws according to the material, not machines.

What determines the choice
-
01 — The rate at which the jobs alternate
A few changes a month:
the reasoning holds.
Several a day:
it no longer holds. -
02 — The jaws really useful
The whole catalogue is rarely bought.
Two well-chosen sets are worth more than a complete set half of which sleeps. - 03 — The rotation It is almost always part of these tools, and it calls for a second hydraulic function.
- 04 — The weight of the equipped body It is calculated with the heaviest jaw, arm extended, at height.
What is checked before ordering
-
The hydraulic functions available
One for the squeezing, one for the rotation:
counted on the machine. - The load chart in the real working position In demolition, you work with the arm extended and often at height.
-
The means of changing jaws
An area, lifting gear, tooling, time:
all that either exists, or does not. - The interface Coupler designation or pin dimensions.
