Sweeper for tractors, loaders and telehandlers
It sweeps up what the blade leaves behind:
fine snow, mud, grit.

A rotary brush or rows of brooms.
They clean the yard, the cowshed, the loading bay or the road,
in front of the tractor, behind it or on the end of the loader.
Other names for this tool: rotary broom, pick-up sweeper, bucket-mounted broom, yard broom, manure collector, weed broom.

- Hitch
- Front or rear three-point linkage, Euro hitch, loader, telehandler or forklift, depending on the model

- Hydraulic motor or power take-off, none for the free-standing broom

- A tractor, a farm loader or a telehandler, not an excavator
What it is for
Right: without a hopper, the same brush pushes the dirt ahead of it.
What sets it apart:
the brush turns in contact with the ground and throws the dirt into the hopper, or ahead of it when there is none.

Behind it, the yard is clean, with no broom in hand.

A cylindrical brush, driven by a hydraulic motor or by the power take-off, turns in contact with the ground and sweeps away mud, manure, gravel or snow.
Depending on the model, a hopper follows it and is emptied by a ram, a side brush takes care of the edges, and a spray bar keeps the dust down.
It is the tool of the farmyard, the cowshed, the composting or anaerobic digestion platform, the worksite and the road dirtied by vehicles leaving the fields.
Other versions sweep without any hydraulics, mount the brush on a bucket, pick up droppings in a paddock or tear weeds out of kerbs.
A full hopper weighs on the front of the machine. Road holding and visibility are judged with the sweeper loaded, not empty.
The useful width and oil flow depend on the model, not on a generic figure.
On which machine?
It fits on a tractor, a farm loader or a telehandler, not on an excavator.
Depending on the model, it is hitched to the front or rear three-point linkage, to a Euro hitch, or to a loader, telehandler or forklift.
The tractor power, the hitch category, the loader hitch and the lifting capacity: we calculate them with you for your machine.
What the tool does
It sweeps over a width of 1,4 to 2,6 m, with a weight of 320 to 480 kg, to be checked with you.
Common widths: 1 420, 1 620, 1 820, 2 020, 2 220 or 2 420 mm, to be checked with you.
Its hopper holds from 350 to 620 l and its brush is 540 mm in diameter, to be checked with you.
What is needed on the hydraulic side
Depending on the model, it is driven by a hydraulic motor or by the power take-off; the free brush has no drive.
Recorded flow: 60 l/min, at 140 bar, to be checked with you.
The power take-off speed, the spool valves and the third function on the loader: we calculate them with you for your machine.
Figures taken from 16 models on the market.
Your study sets the exact value for your machine.
Rounded values, taken from the models we track.

What is missing, and the value for your machine, are worked out with you.
Have your equipment checked.
Describe the surface to be cleaned, what dirties it and the machine that will carry the sweeper.
Specify whether the dirt must be collected.
- On a tractor Its power in hp, and the power take-off speed: 540 or 1000 rpm.
- The tractor hitch The three-point linkage category, and the spool valves available.
- On a loader Its hitch, Euro or another, and its lifting capacity.
- The 3rd function Present or not.
- The work The use.

What determines the choice
-
01 — The surface and the dirt Concrete, asphalt, compacted gravel, manure, sticky soil, grass:
the brush, plastic, mixed or reinforced, is chosen with what is being swept. -
02 — Collect or push aside Hopper, bucket, or a simple windrow:
collecting is justified when the dirt has to leave the surface. -
03 — The machine and its hitch Front or rear linkage, Euro hitch, loader, telehandler, forklift:
the sweeper is chosen with the machine that carries it and its spool valves. -
04 — Edges and dust Side brush, hydraulic angling, spraying:
they matter along walls, kerbs and near occupied buildings.
What is checked before ordering
-
The oil flow It is checked on the actual machine:
the brush must turn at the intended speed, no more, no less. -
The hitch Linkage, frame, forklift carriage:
we check that the coupling is that of the machine and that it lets the brush follow the ground. - The load on the front It is checked with the hopper full and the spray tank filled, not empty.
-
Driving on the road Lights, warning stripes, overall width:
we check what the equipped machine must carry before leaving the yard.
