Multi-purpose loader bucket
Synthetic image.
A rounded bucket, a powerful grab,
and side walls that can be removed.
With them, nothing falls; without them, it takes more.
Other names for this tool: multi-purpose grab bucket, bucket with removable walls, multi-purpose silage bucket, crocodile bucket with removable cheeks.

What it is for
Right: with the walls removed, it takes long materials that stick out at the sides.
What sets it apart:
the side walls come off, and the same bucket goes from fine bulk material to long materials.

The multi-purpose bucket has a rounded, reinforced bottom, a scraper in highly wear-resistant steel, and a gripping arm whose cylinders, placed at the top, give a wide opening angle.
Its side walls unscrew: fitted, they hold back short-chopped silage and pasty manure; removed, they let it take materials cut long and tear out more with each pass.
This is the tool for the farm that wants a single bucket to unload silage, clean out and load.
Not to be confused with the four-in-one bucket of construction machines, whose bottom opens in two: here, it is the upper arm that grips.
Without its walls, the bucket takes more, and weighs more. The load is judged with the real material and the real set-up, not with the empty bucket.
The useful capacity depends on the model, not on a generic figure.
On which machine?
A multi-purpose bucket fits a farm loader, a telehandler, a wheeled loader or a mini loader, not an excavator.
It hitches via a Euro hitch, depending on the model.
The loader hitch and the lifting capacity needed: we calculate them with you for your machine.
What the tool does
It is used to sort and grip, thanks to its grapple.
Its weight: we calculate it with you for your machine.
What is needed on the hydraulic side
Its grapple needs a double-acting hydraulic control.
The number of double-acting connections on the loader: we calculate it with you for your machine.
Your study sets the exact value for your machine.

Have your equipment checked.
Describe the materials you take, silage, manure or straw, and the machine that will carry the bucket.
Specify the one that dominates.
- Your loader Its hitch: Euro, or another.
- Lifting The lifting capacity of the loader.
- The 3rd function Present or not.

What determines the choice
-
01 — The materials to take Chopped silage, pasty manure, strawy manure, straw, long materials:
the more they vary, the more useful the removable walls. -
02 — The size of the machine Farm loader, telehandler, wheel loader or small loader:
a compact version exists for light machines. -
03 — The grab Number of cylinders, opening width, tines screwed into conical sockets:
they are chosen with the height of the silo face and the thickness of the manure. -
04 — One bucket or several The multi-purpose bucket does a lot,
but a dedicated grab bucket or crocodile fork remains more efficient when one job dominates.
What is checked before ordering
- The capacity of the loader It is checked with the bucket full, walls removed if they often are, grab closed and arms raised.
-
The hydraulics One double-acting control is required:
we check that the machine controls the grab in addition to the loader. -
The hitch Euro hitch or loader, wheel loader or telehandler coupler:
we check that the coupling is that of the machine.
