2D grade guidance
no digital drawing, no georeferencing.
Synthetic image.
Sensors on the equipment, a screen in the cab.
The driver sees where the cutting edge is in relation to a reference set on the site:
a depth, a slope.
Other names for this tool: depth guidance, grading aid, slope indicator, laser guidance.

What it is for
Right: without guidance, the machine stops to check the level with the staff.
What sets it apart:
its principle is local — it compares against a reference set on the site, not against a drawing.
Computer-generated image.
The principle is local:
a reference is taken on the site, given to the system, and the screen then displays the difference between the cutting edge of the tool and the level aimed at.
The driver stops climbing down from the machine to go and measure, and the checker stops making them climb down.
It is the tool for formation levels, trenches at a steady slope and platforms.
It calls for no digital drawing and no data preparation:
a reference, a commissioning, half a day getting used to it, and it works.
A guidance system is worth no more than the reference it has been given. A reference badly taken again after the machine has moved, a sensor out of adjustment or a tool changed without telling the system all give a display that is perfectly legible and perfectly wrong.
The check is still necessary:
it simply becomes less frequent.
On which machine?
It suits all machines.
It fits on the machine, independently of the coupler.
The machine class and the fitting details: we calculate them with you for your machine.
What the tool does
It guides levelling with sensors on the equipment and a screen in the cab.
The sensors can cover the boom, the dipper arm, the bucket, pitch and roll.
The choice of sensors and console: we calculate it with you for your machine.
What is needed on the hydraulic side
It runs on electricity, from the 12 or 24 V on-board electrical system depending on the machine.
Its electrical power: we calculate it with you for your machine.
Figures taken from our models on the market.
Your study sets the exact value for your machine.
Don't have these figures?
A photo of the machine is enough to start.
Have your machine checked.
Tell us what you have to hold and how you check it today.
If your drawings are already digital and your setting-out already surveyed, the right question may be that of georeferenced guidance.
- Your machine Its exact make and model.
- What is fitted What equips the machine today.
- The on-board electrical system Its voltage: 12 or 24 V.
Without these details, the study still begins: we will ask you for them.

What determines the choice
-
01 — What you have to hold
A depth, a simple slope, or a shape:
beyond the simple slope, the question becomes one of georeferenced guidance. - 02 — The number of tools used Each tool has its geometry, and the system has to know it.
-
03 — Taking the reference again
It is done every time the machine moves:
it is the act that decides the real accuracy. - 04 — Training the driver It is short, but it is not optional.
What is checked before ordering
-
The work to be guided
Formation level, trench, embankment:
they do not call for the same equipment. - The machine and its equipment Fitting the sensors depends on the geometry of the arm.
- The electrical supply and the room in the cab They are checked on the machine.
-
A possible move to georeferenced guidance
Some installations lend themselves to it, others do not:
that is worth knowing beforehand.
