On-board bucket weighing
the driver reads what is being loaded without leaving the seat.
Synthetic image.
The machine announces what it loads, bucket after bucket.
The lorry leaves at the right weight, the day is counted in real tonnage.
One question remains:
what the figure is for.
Other names for this tool: on-board weighing, bucket weigher, load indicator, excavator weighing system.

What it is for
Right: without weighing, one lorry leaves half empty and the other overloaded.
What sets it apart:
it does not save time on the movement, it does away with wasted trips.
Computer-generated image.
The system measures the load carried by the equipment and displays it in the cab, bucket after bucket, with a running total.
The first benefit is loading lorries:
no more half-full lorry, no more overloaded lorry going back to the heap.
The second is monitoring:
a tonnage removed that is known every evening, without going over the weighbridge, makes it possible to manage a haulage operation and to support an interim payment application.
An indicative weighing and a legally binding one are not the same equipment. Helping a driver not to overload a lorry is an internal use.
Invoicing a customer on the weight displayed, or setting it against a third party, is a trade use:
that assumes an instrument that is verified, monitored and inspected.

the answer changes everything.
On which machine?
The weighing system is installed permanently on the machine and in the cab, independently of the coupler.
All machines are covered.
What the tool does
This system provides on-board weighing of the bucket.
It relies on an arm position sensor, a chassis inclinometer and two pressure transducers.
What is needed on the hydraulic side
It runs on electricity, from the 12 or 24 V on-board electrical system depending on the machine.
The consumption and the power: we calculate them with you for your machine.
Figures taken from our models on the market.
Your study sets the exact value for your machine.
Don't have these figures?
A photo of the machine is enough to start.
Have your machine checked.
Tell us whether you want to avoid overloads or whether you want to invoice by weight.
These are two different needs, and we will not offer you the same equipment.
- Your machine Its exact make and model.
- What is fitted What equips the machine today.
- The on-board electrical system Its voltage: 12 or 24 V.

What determines the choice
-
01 — The intended use
Loading aid or legally binding weighing:
it is the first criterion, and it is not a technical one. -
02 — The method of measurement
Weighing on the move or at a standstill:
the constraints on the driver are not the same. - 03 — The tools used The system has to know which tool is fitted, otherwise it weighs the tool along with the load.
- 04 — Using the data A display in the cab and a usable record are not the same thing.
What is checked before ordering
- What you will do with the figure Internal, or towards a third party.
- The measuring conditions on your site Ground, slope and rate all affect the measurement.
- The settings for each tool Every tool fitted has to be declared.
- Monitoring the instrument A weighing system nobody checks is no longer a weighing system after a few months.
