Bolt-on mounting plate
a bolted joint lives, a weld does not.
Synthetic image.
The same function as a welded mounting plate, without a welding set and without any permanent modification.
It can be taken off, which is sometimes the whole question.
Other names for this tool: screwed plate, bolted interface, removable plate.

What it is for
Right: the welded mounting plate is permanent and alters the steel of the tool.
The same function as welding, but it can be taken off.

It is useful when welding is not desirable:
a tool under warranty, a hire tool, treated steel, or simply no workshop available.
It also makes the operation reversible.
For a hire company, reversibility changes the nature of the decision:
a tool can go back from one standard to another depending on the machine it is assigned to.
Bolting is checked, welding is forgotten. A bolted assembly that takes alternating forces calls for a periodic torque check.
It is the price of reversibility, and it is worth knowing beforehand.
On which machine?
On a machine from 1,6 to 10 t: a mounting plate from 22 to 170 kg.
Its role: to adapt to all couplers.
It comes in a Klac coupler version, to be checked with you.
What the tool does
It is used to couple and adapt tools.
It bolts onto the tool and can still be removed.
What is needed on the hydraulic side
It needs no hydraulic connection.

Your study sets the exact value for your machine.
Have your machine checked.
Tell us which tool is to be equipped, what coupler you have, and whether the tool must be able to change standard later.
- Your machine Its exact make and model.
- What is fitted What equips the machine today.
- The work What the machine is used for.

What determines the choice
- 01 — The reversibility sought If the tool will never change standard, welding is simpler.
-
02 — The condition and type of the tool's steel
Some steels weld badly:
bolting then becomes the right answer, not a makeshift. - 03 — Access for the torque check A bolt that cannot be reached will not be checked.
-
04 — The lead time
No workshop, no downtime:
it is often the quickest solution.
What is checked before ordering
- The designation of your coupler Read off it.
- The thickness and the possible drilling on the tool They govern the feasibility.
- The torque and the class of bolts They are part of the supply, not of improvisation.
- The checking interval To be fixed at the time of fitting.
