Tilting bucket
its travel fixes the maximum angle, and nothing makes up for that.

A ram tilts the body of the bucket.
The slope is followed at the tool:
the tracks no longer move to catch up half a degree.
Other names for this tool: tiltable bucket, tilting bucket, bucket with a tilt ram, swivelling bucket.

What it is for
Right: the tilting coupler tilts every tool the machine takes.
What sets it apart:
it tilts only itself — the driver tilts continuously, from the cab, while working.
Computer-generated image.
The tilt is carried by the bucket itself:
a frame and a ram are inserted between the mounting plate and the body.
The driver tilts from the cab, continuously, while working.
The gain is measured in repositionings avoided, and in fewer track marks on ground that is already finished.
On a length of work — a ditch, a verge, a platform — that is where the difference widens.
Two ways of tilting, and they are not equal. The tilting bucket tilts only itself;
the tilting coupler tilts every tool the machine takes.
As soon as more than one tool would gain from tilting, the calculation changes sides. See the tilting coupler.
On which machine?
They exist for machines from 1,4 to 40 t.
For example, on a 10 to 20 t excavator, the weight is generally from 253 to 1 223 kg.
It measures from 1 000 to 1 200 mm wide on a micro-excavator, from 1 000 to 1 400 mm on a mini-excavator.
It fits all quick couplers, or directly on the pins.
What the tool does
It tilts using a hydraulic ram.
For example, for a width of 1 400 mm: capacity from 195 to 1 411 l, weight from 138 to 1 446 kg.

What is needed on the hydraulic side
It needs a double-acting hydraulic circuit.
The flow and the pressure: we calculate them with you for your machine.

Your study sets the exact value for your machine.
Have your machine checked.
Tell us how many tools, in your case, would gain from tilting.
And send a photograph of the end of the dipper arm, so that we can count the lines.
- Your machine Its make and its tonnage.
- The auxiliary circuit Its flow in l/min, its pressure in bar, single- or double-acting.
- The coupler in place Its system and its class.
- The work The use, and the material.

Tilting ditching bucket
Principle — a wide, smooth ditching bucket to which the tilt cylinder has been added.
Use — it sets the slope of a ditch, a bank or a platform to be finished; it is not for digging.

What determines the choice
- 01 — The hydraulic line available It decides feasibility before any other question.
-
02 — The number of tools concerned
Only one:
the tilting bucket.
Several:
the coupler, or the tiltrotator. - 03 — The useful amount It relates to the slopes you make, not to those in the catalogue.
- 04 — The height and weight added The frame moves the tool away from the dipper arm, and that is paid for in breakout force.
What is checked before ordering
- The number of lines at the end of the dipper arm With a photograph to back it up.
- The control available in the cab A line with no control is of no use.
-
The type of bucket to be tilted
