The wear part of the stone crusher.
It strikes the stones and reduces them to gravel,
and is replaced as a complete set when it is worn.

What it is for
Right: worn hammers, rounded by the stone, that no longer crush.
What sets it apart:
its striking face is rebuilt in hard metal, and it goes back into place on the rotor, fixed by bolts.
Computer-generated image.
The agricultural stone crusher is hitched behind the tractor.
Its horizontal rotor turns at high speed and carries a row of impact hammers:
they are what strike the stones brought up by tillage and reduce them to gravel, directly in the field.
The hammers wear on contact with the stone.
They are replaced as a complete set, never one by one, to keep the rotor balanced.
We offer hard-faced hammers:
their striking face is rebuilt in hard metal, which restores their wear resistance.
They are fitted in place of the worn hammers, fixed by bolts on the rotor, and the bolts are ordered separately.
A mismatched set unbalances the rotor. A new hammer fitted next to worn hammers makes the crusher vibrate.
The shape of the hammers, their number and their fixing depend on the crusher model, not on a general rule.
On which machine?
This hammer fits on the horizontal rotor of an agricultural stone crusher.
It is fixed to it with screws, sold separately; their model is read off the screws in place.
The model and year of the crusher are read on its manufacturer's plate.
The number of hammers: we calculate it with you for your machine.
What the tool does
It is a hard-faced wear part, with a striking surface in hard metal.
One hammer weighs from 1 to 9,5 kg depending on the crusher model, to be checked with you.
What is needed on the hydraulic side
Fixed to the rotor, it needs no connection.

What is missing, and the value for your machine, are worked out with you.
Have your crusher checked.
Send a photo of your crusher's maker's plate and a photo of the rotor.
We check the model, the number of hammers and the bolts with you before pricing.
- The crusher's model and year A photo of the maker's plate is enough.
- The number of hammers Those fitted on your rotor.
- The bolt model So that we can offer you the right fixing bolts.
- The use The type of stone and the areas cleared of stones, if you know them.

What determines the choice
-
01 — The crusher model
Each crusher has its own hammer shape and fixing:
the hammer is chosen from the maker's plate, not by eye. -
02 — Hard-faced or new
The hard-faced hammer has its striking face rebuilt in hard metal:
a new hammer can also be offered, depending on the model. -
03 — The complete set
The hammers are all changed together:
the rotor stays balanced and the crushing stays even. -
04 — The fixing bolts
They are ordered separately:
their model is checked at the time of the change.
What is checked before ordering
- The exact model It is read on the maker's plate, with the year.
- The number of hammers It is counted on the rotor, with the crusher stopped, unhitched and chocked.
- The bolts Their model is taken from those in place, before ordering.
