Cubicle aerator

A disc or an auger at the end of an arm.
They loosen the compacted bedding of the cubicles
and level it again, without leaving the machine.
Other names for this tool: cubicle cultivator, cubicle leveller, cubicle harrow, bedding loosener.

What it is for
Right: the arm swings round to the other row, the machine stays in the alley.
What sets it apart:
the tool turns at the end of an offset arm, which reaches into the cubicle while the machine stays in the alley.
Computer-generated image.
At the end of an offset arm, a disc or an auger, driven by a hydraulic motor, claws the hardened bedding, mixes it and levels it again.
Depending on the model, the arm is adjustable in length and swivels by cylinder from one side of the alley to the other, or folds and is turned by hand.
This is the tool of the cubicle barn, with cubicles bedded with sand, chopped straw or a mixture of lime and straw.
Loosened, level bedding dries better, the animals lie down more readily, and the work is done without fork or rake.
An occupied cubicle is never worked. The animals are moved out of the passage, or out of the building, before the tool turns.
The reach of the arm depends on the model and the cubicles, not on a generic figure.
On which machine?
A cubicle aerator fits a farm loader or a machine equipped with a Euro hitch, not an excavator.
The loader hitch and the lifting capacity required: we calculate them with you for your machine.
What the tool does
Its tool rotates and its arm swivels.
The weight of the tool: we calculate it with you for your machine.
What is needed on the hydraulic side
The hydraulics drive the rotation of the tool and the swivelling of the arm.
The number of double-acting connections on the loader's third function: we calculate it with you for your machine.
Your study sets the exact value for your machine.
Don't have these figures?
A photo of the machine is enough to start.
Have your equipment checked.
Describe the building, the bedding and the machine that will run along the alley.
Specify whether the cubicles are in single or double rows.
- Your loader Its hitch: Euro, or another.
- Lifting The lifting capacity of the loader.
- The 3rd function Present or not.
- The work The use.

What determines the choice
-
01 — The bedding Sand, chopped straw, lime and straw, heavily compacted bedding:
the disc levels and mixes, the auger loosens what has hardened. -
02 — One side or both Arm swivelled by cylinder or turned by hand:
for a double row of cubicles, the swivelling arm treats both sides without getting off. -
03 — The cubicles Depth, kerb, divider rails:
the arm is adjusted to reach in without touching the dividers. -
04 — The machine and the hitch Farm loader or Euro hitch:
the aerator is chosen with the machine that runs along the alley.
What is checked before ordering
-
Passage through the building Alley width, headroom under beams and pipework:
we check that the equipped machine can move and manoeuvre there. -
The hydraulics One double-acting spool valve, and a diverter valve depending on the model:
we check the oil flow of the actual machine. -
The hitch Loader coupler or Euro hitch:
we check that the coupling is that of the machine.
