Screening and crushing bucket
one pass instead of two.
Synthetic image.
It does not merely separate:
it reduces, then it grades.
One pass instead of two, but hydraulics under markedly more strain.
Other names for this tool: crushing and screening bucket, screening and grinding bucket, recovery bucket.

What it is for
Right: the simple screen sets clods and roots aside in a pile of oversize.
What sets it apart:
one pass instead of two — the clod and the root are no longer oversize.
Computer-generated image.
Cutting elements reduce the material while it is being stirred, then the grid grades what comes out.
A clod, a root, a piece of green waste are no longer set aside as oversize:
they become part of the finished product.
It is the tool for compost, for topsoil to be reworked and for spoil laden with organic matter.
On hard mineral material, it is not the one you need:
reducing a clod and crushing concrete are two different trades.
Crushing costs energy, and that energy comes out of the machine. A screening and crushing bucket demands more of the hydraulics than a simple screen, and a carrier that is only just adequate on flow will work slowly and get hot.
That is the first check, even before the size of the bucket. See the auxiliary line.
On which machine?
A screening and crushing bucket fits a medium or large class excavator or loader.
It attaches to all couplers, via a mounting plate.
The exact class and the coupler details: we calculate them with you for your machine.
What the tool does
It screens and crushes materials to recycle and recover them.
The bucket volume and its weight: we calculate them with you for your machine.
What is needed on the hydraulic side
It needs a double-acting hydraulic circuit.
The flow and pressure: we calculate them with you for your machine.
Your study sets the exact value for your machine.

The bucket is chosen on the finished product, not on the raw material.
- Your machine Its make and its tonnage.
- The auxiliary circuit Its flow in l/min, its pressure in bar, single- or double-acting.
- The coupler in place Its system and its class.
- The work The use, and the material.

What determines the choice
-
01 — The material to be reduced
Organic and soft, or mineral and hard:
it is the question that separates this tool from the crusher. - 02 — The fineness aimed at It depends on the grid and on the stirring time, so on the cycle you accept.
- 03 — The carrier's hydraulics They decide the real output, not the capacity announced.
-
04 — Access to the cutting elements
They wear and are replaced:
maintenance that is difficult ends up not being done.
What is checked before ordering
- The composition of the material Soil, plant matter, stones, unwanted items.
- The finished product expected And the use that will be made of it on the site.
- The flow and the pressure available Read at the end of the dipper arm.
- The weight and the load chart This tool is heavy, and it often works with the arm extended.
